Privacy Policy
PassBoom is built on a simple promise: collect as little data as possible and be fully transparent about everything we do.
Short version: PassBoom does not collect your name, email, or any personal information. There is no account system. The app works fully offline. The only third-party service involved is Apple's App Store — for distribution and platform reporting — which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
01 Who We Are
PassBoom ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") is an iOS truth-or-dare party game developed and maintained as an independent project. The app is distributed through Apple's App Store by RECEP OZGUR MIH.
This Privacy Policy applies to the PassBoom iOS application and the accompanying website.
02 Information We Do Not Collect
PassBoom is designed to work without collecting personal information. We do not collect or store:
- Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
- Account credentials — there is no account system
- Location data of any kind
- Camera, microphone, or photo library access
- Contacts or calendar data
- Health or biometric data
- Gameplay history, scores, or session recordings
- Device advertising identifiers
Player names, current round data, selected categories, and local game preferences stay on your device and are not sent to us.
03 Automatic Data Collection
Apple may collect anonymized, aggregated crash reports and usage metrics through standard iOS frameworks when you have opted in to "Share App Analytics" in your device settings. This data is provided to us in aggregate form only — for example, crash frequency or app version adoption — and cannot be used to identify you individually.
We do not integrate any analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude) into the app. There is no third-party tracking code in PassBoom, and no App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt will be shown.
04 Children's Privacy
PassBoom is rated 4+ on the App Store and intended for general audiences. Players should choose prompts and challenges that are appropriate for their group.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, no special handling for children is required beyond what Apple's platform already enforces.
If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 9 and we will address it immediately.
05 Data Retention
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Any data collected by Apple — such as crash reports or App Store metrics — is governed by Apple's own retention policies.
06 Third-Party Services
The following third-party service is involved in PassBoom's operation:
- Apple App Store — app distribution and optional crash reporting. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Apple. We encourage you to review their policy directly.
07 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data — including the right to access, delete, or port it, or to opt out of its sale. Since PassBoom collects no personal data directly, most of these rights are exercisable against Apple (for App Store data) rather than against us.
You may contact us at any time and we will direct you to the appropriate party or assist where we are able.
08 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when we add new features that involve data processing. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App Store release notes.
Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
